I am very excited to share with you how to create a perfectly organized (and beautiful!) Pantry. This post is part of the blog post with eight other bloggers; If you’re coming to Crisp Collective from my friend Bethany, welcome! Didn’t Bethany playroom project inspire you? She is very talented and, of course, loves all the amazing “The Container Store” products her kids use to organize her space. I would also like to thank Sarah in Grace In My Space for putting together this organized strip.

This project is one of my favorite home projects to date. You know why? Because of the dramatic results it produces. Our cellar has gone to chaotic and messy, beautiful and perfectly functional, which does not work well for our family. This transformation has now sparked my desire to cope with other “eye sores” and poorly organized areas on the road due to the difference it creates in our daily lives.

NOW, I AM GOING TO TAKE YOU STEP-BY-STEP ON HOW TO DO THIS IN YOUR OWN HOME! LET’S GET STARTED!

Showing you the “before” photo of our pantry allows you to see what I mean when I say it’s a disaster haha! Although there were some attempts at the baskets, none of them matched or organized with intent. It was hard to see what was in our pantry and made me enjoy cooking (or really cooking) because I couldn’t find what I needed. So, I knew that everything had to be removed first! As you can see, I drained the cellar completely, nothing is left. It felt better anyway haha! While emptying the cellar, I created lots of things like stuff (and yes, I found things I didn’t know we had!). Some of the stacks I created:

  1. Snacks

  2. Baking items

  3. Rice

  4. Pasta

  5. Candies

  6. Condiments

  7. Canned goods

  8. Powder drink mixes and water bottles

  9. Coolers

  10. Protein bars and powder

  11. Perishables

  12. Paper towels

It was time to have fun, as I now have row piles! I bought so many great containers from “The Container Store” that I knew they would bring me the look and functionality I expected! I started to put these pieces in a cellar for a purpose.

With four children, their favorite food should be on the bottom shelves and not unbreakable. What is the best way to organize a pantry?,How do you organize snacks in the pantry?,How do you Organise a larder?,How do you organize your food?,How do you arrange dishes in kitchen cabinets?,How do I group items in pantry?,How do you organize baking supplies?,How can I organize my snacks without a pantry?,How do you organize a walk in food pantry?,How do you organize pasta in pantry?,How do I organize my pantry on a budget?

As you can see, I used these plastic, multipurpose boxes found here, this is OXO Good Grips 3.4 qt. POP Grain Dispensers were found here and this amazing OXO Good Grips 10 Piece POP Canister Set was found here.

For things like bread, products and water bottles, I loved finding these open wooden handle baskets here. On high shelves I placed pieces of glass that hold my husband’s or the food I have accessed for cooking and cooking. These glass boxes with glass lids make my heart happy; I liked things like flour, rice, semolina pouring into cans where you can always see! And while this beautiful glass box with oak lids can be broken, they are smaller in size, so I felt comfortable keeping them in the middle shelf, so they can also help with picking up the oven and other items we hold less regularly.

Breakfast items such as oatmeal and pancake mix houses in glass boxes and found in our cereals at OXO Good Grips 4.5 qt. POP Grain Dispensers were found here. And last but not least, you can see when we have some canned products, this is not much, so I decided to use a Lazy Susan as our canned good warehouse so that we can easily see what we have. . This 2-layer bamboo one is the perfect texture to have with large glass boxes and adjacent oak lids.

“Then” the whole family did smiling and saying “WOW”! In fact, instead of keeping the cellar door closed, we didn’t care to keep it open anymore. The “Container Store” parts met our needs as a family of six: maximum functionality, tidy and generally clean and beautiful appearance. When my kids helped empty the food in the pantry, we added some chalkboard labels to the pieces to remind which food items go where. It is nice that all the bulky boxes and paper boxes do not come with food, empty them into containers that keep them fresh and give this aerodynamic appearance.
