New year, new decade and a brand new wedding year to work on! This is one of the reasons I adore my job. And the world of wedding planning never stops, there are new trends and influences that inspire brides, wedding planners and wedding industry suppliers to create something different and unique every year.

In 2020, I completed some trends that I thought would dominate the wedding world.

1. Floral Clouds and Structures

Large, pristine center pieces come out as detailed flower screens are removed from tables and placed on ceilings or walls with declaration setups that can transform spaces. These installations provide a focal point that will make guests ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ and also take incredibly good pictures. Such arrangements are best suited for large and bold flowers such as hydrangea, as well as beautifully knitted herbs and leaves to create plenty of screens.2020 trend Blush Pink Flower Circle Wreaths, 2020 trend Blush Pink Flower models, 2020 trend Blush Pink Flower decorations, 2020 trend Blush Pink Flower designs

2. City Weddings

Due to a financially difficult 2019 (Brexit anyone?), Many couples prefer to reduce costs by approaching home. They choose less traditional and often more industrial places to stand out from their friends – these empty canvases can be transformed by flowers; It softens hard lines and materials, gives a much-needed burst of color, and provides an incredible contrast between industrial and romantic taking a dreamlike photo!

3. Long Banquet Tables

Round tables too 2019! 2020 is all about a banquet table, and our stylish designs in incompatible glass vases are perfect for this type of table. They add a beautiful, natural and organic look and, when interspersed with tea lights, create an ethereal glow that raises any wedding table. Our modern Romance shots use individual, large-headed, velvety roses with feathered leaves to create expression without height.

4. Swap Simple for Lavish

2020 will see a move from simple, minimalist floral designs to flamboyant, filled and textured patterns. Consider voluminous herbs, soft ferns, wild leaves and full-leaved flowers. When it comes to texture, color and variety, more is definitely more! I love this bouquet we have created for a new photo shoot, it is filled with my favorite flowers such as roses, ranunculus, chrysanthemum, dried herbs and fresh greenery.

5. Hair Accessories

Hello phrase headbands, hat and flower hair pieces. These are a modern, striking and cool alternative to traditional curtains. It can become an extension of your bouquet, allowing you to wear your favorite flowers even more.

6. Colour Palette

A shady vintage twist and blush pink, pale herbs and lush dark green leaves create a moody, modern and neutral palette that will go storm next year. The blush is soft, trending and wasted to use most of 2019 in the most stylish interiors, paired with fuzzy neutrals and dark colors, giving the edge 2020 a fresh color.

7. Zen Do

With a joint movement towards more careful and relaxing activities to compensate for our busy, modern lives, many brides are changing raucous chicken parties for calmer, careful and healthy activities. These are designed to give a calm and peaceful feeling before the big day. 2019 has seen more chicken parties than ever in my Flower Shop Workshops and I hope to see more in 2020. This year we are organizing a DIY Wedding Flower Workshop to give brides the tools to create their own bouquets and buttonholes. and table centers. We can also organize Flower Crown Workshops for you and the bride tribe; What a happy, stress-free activity that will immerse you in the middle of planning the biggest party of your life! 2020 trend Blush Pink Flower Circle Wreaths, 2020 trend Blush Pink Flower models, 2020 trend Blush Pink Flower decorations, 2020 trend Blush Pink Flower designs

8. Sustainability

This was a big issue for 2019 and will be even bigger in 2020. Thanks to the events in 2019, people began to strengthen that small changes from us would make a huge difference to the world. Flower Lounge is always committed to being environmentally friendly – we do not use plastic in any of our packaging or behind the scenes in any flower arrangement and installation, we provide reusable glass vases for many of our gift bouquets, and when it comes to supplying our Beautiful flowers and plants and gorgeous candles, cards and gifts Buy British who are local in the North West wherever possible.

Brides can make a big difference by choosing seasonal, British-grown, blooming and greenery on their big days. I also hope to see more live trees used to wear ceremonies and receptions, as well as plants in ceramic containers. What’s great about them is that they can be used again as eco-friendly favors and invite guests to take the plants home in their garden.

9. Edible Florals

I love this trend because it makes me happy to see flowers at every opportunity. The trend of edible flowers caught the imagination of the culinary world in 2019, and now the wedding industry has been caught. Expect to see the flowers pressed in ice cubes, salads, cakes, cocktails, invitations, or even dried as confetti!

10. Grasses and Dried Flowers

Although foliage remains a strong trend, stronger neutral tones and a definite change have occurred between the weeds of dried flowers and herbs such as pampas, dried hops and wheat bunches. This is such a sustainable choice for couples, especially perfect for everything between weddings in the summer, especially when sprinkled with fresh flowers and leaves that are in the season at that time of the year. I especially love the longevity of dried flowers and herbs, looking for the perfect picture, whatever the weather! In fact, this trend is booming this year, in September I introduced a Perfect Dry Flower Wreath Workshop for brides who want to get an idea for this beautiful trend before a wedding.

If you are lucky enough to get an engagement ring under this Christmas tree and my list of 2020 wedding trends inspired you to think about your wedding, I would like to hear from you.

I’d love to hear from you.
